Man Sacrifices His Life To Rescue Pet Bird From Burning Condo
A San Dimas man made the ultimate sacrifice for his pet bird.The man Russell Bennett, 60, dashed into his burning condo yesterday to save his bird from the flames. The bird survived, but Bennett collapsed outside his condo in San Dimas and died shortly after, according to The Daily Breeze.
Bennett's cause of death has not yet been determined, the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.
