Happy Thursday. Cooling will continue for the coastal valleys, but inland areas and deserts will still feel a bit warm. Tomorrow, a warming trend begins.
Low clouds along the beaches will clear later this morning making way for sunny skies and highs in the mid 70s up to 80s for the inland coast. Valley highs will be in the upper 80s to mid 90s, and up to 99 degrees for the Inland Empire.
Antelope Valley will be very warm today with highs up to 102 degrees.
The high desert will be a couple of degrees cooler with highs up to 106, and up to 110 in the low desert.
Tonight's lows will be much cooler, down in the 60s, but 80s for the low desert.
A warming trend comes back tomorrow. Forecasters warn that the heat risk will be highest on Saturday when hot temperatures will peak for inland areas.
