Christmas Tree Fire Leaves Sherman Oaks Home Engulfed in Flames on Night Family Was Celebrating Orthodox Christmas
A family in Sherman Oaks lost their home last night, while they were gathered to celebrate orthodox Christmas.The family's 20-foot Christmas tree caught on fire and set off a smoke detector, but the family didn't notice the fire until it had already spread, according to ABC 7. Most of the family's 2-story home was destroyed.
The family got out of the house safely and soundly, but it took 60 firefighters an hour to put the blaze out.
