Bryson Fire prompts evacuation warnings in Malibu
The Bryson Fire began Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, in Encinal Canyon in Malibu.

Malibu residents near Encinal Canyon area near Trancas Canyon have been ordered to evacuate because of the Bryson Fire, which started Thursday afternoon and had grown to about 101.5 acres as of 7 p.m. Other nearby areas were under evacuation warnings.
The L.A. County Fire Department was fighting the fire.
