Brush Fire Closes All Lanes on Northbound 5 Freeway
A brush fire in the Newhall Pass between Los Angeles and Santa Clarita Valley has prompted officials to close all northbound lanes, according to an e-mail alert from KNX1070. Traffic is being re-routed from the northbound 5 freeway to 14. An alternative route that may help is Santa Clarita's cross-valley connector.
