Body Found In Torched SUV Had Been Shot To Death

Early this morning the body of a man shot to death was found inside a burning SUV in Mount Washington.
Firefighters responded to scene around 2 am in the 4800 block of Marmion Way and found a man who had been shot in the driver's seat, according to City News Service.
The victim has been identified but his name has not been released. Gunshots had been reported in the area around 20 minutes before, but it's not clear if they were related to the death.
No one has been arrested in the case. Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call (877) LAPD-247.
