Capitol Hill's Beautiful People List has a lot of Californians

We need to hear from you.
Today during our spring member drive, put a dollar value on the trustworthy reporting you rely on all year long. The local news you read here every day is crafted for you, but right now, we need your help to keep it going. In these uncertain times, your support is even more important. We can't hold those in power accountable and uplift voices from the community without your partnership. Thank you.

Every year Washington D.C. news source The Hill publishes an annual list of the 50 Most Beautiful People and this year, Californians took the majority of spots, finds Kitty Felde at KPCC . 16 percent of the list -- or eight people (one, seen right, works for a Californian, so she's like a Capitol Hill transplant) -- represent the Golden State on the gawking list, which includes young staffers and the politicians themselves like Democrat Judy Chu, who made the top ten and finds it odd to be on the list. As for the young staffers like 23-year-old Allison Sadoian from Fresno, no dates yet, just lots of Facebook friend requests (come on guys, get some balls!).
