Marine Found Shot In The Head At Camp Pendleton
A Marine was found dead of an apparent gunshot wound at Camp Pendleton in San Diego County this morning. A Marine assigned to the 1st Marine Division was found dead at 6 a.m. at Marksmanship Training Range 214 at Camp Pendleton, NBC San Diego reports. The range where he was found is used for training exercises in which live ammunition is used. No one else was injured.
What led up to the shooting is still under investigation, and the identity of the man will not be revealed for 24 hours pending the notification of his family.
