California Voter Registration Deadline Is Monday

We need to hear from you.
Today during our spring member drive, put a dollar value on the trustworthy reporting you rely on all year long. The local news you read here every day is crafted for you, but right now, we need your help to keep it going. In these uncertain times, your support is even more important. We can't hold those in power accountable and uplift voices from the community without your partnership. Thank you.

If you're planning to vote in the June 3 California primary, Monday is the deadline to register or update your address if you moved.

The new statewide "top two" primary system means that the top two candidates of any party will be on the fall ballot, so even though there are a bunch of powerful Democratic incumbents in the statewide offices right now, you have special say in this primary if you're an independent. And in any case, you should vote, it's good for you.

You can grab voter registration forms at the post office, the library, the DMV, or just do it online at registertovote.ca.gov.
