Burbank Fresh & Easy Opening Wednesday, Tarzana Whole Foods Opening Scheduled for May
Last month, it was South L.A. This month, it's Burbank. Fresh & Easy officials today announced that their latest store, located at Olive Street and Verdugo Avenue, will open this Wednesday at 10 a.m. after a ceremonial event with city officials and Family Promise of East San Fernando Valley, which will be given a $1,000 donation.
New stores will also open Wednesday in Downey, Baldwin Park and Ontario. A store is rumored to open someday in Encino.
In Tarzana, word on the street is that the new Whole Foods near Ventura and Reseda boulevards is scheduled to open on May 12th. In bigger news, LAist is also hearing that Whole Foods may be closer to closing its two Sherman Oaks locations in lieu of a bigger store on Sepulveda Boulevard, possibly near Magnolia Avenue.
