Bus Crash In San Bernardino Mountains Traps Teens, 2 Fatalities

As many as 25 teenagers were reportedly inside a bus when it collided with another vehicle, hit a tree, knocked out a power pole, and slid down an embankment just before noon on Highway 189 in the San Bernardino Mountains, reports KTLA.

Officials believe the other vehicle involved may be a Nissan Murano belonging to the San Bernardino County Fire Department; The bus reportedly may be owned by Wright Church. According to KTLA, the crash occurred in the area known as Twin Peaks approximately 10 miles from Lake Arrowhead.

Ambulances are on the scene, and a triage area set up by firefighters is reportedly treating several injured who have been rescued from the bus. There are least two confirmed fatalitiesaccording to the CHP, reports KTLA
