We need to hear from you.
Today, put a dollar value on the trustworthy reporting you rely on all year long. The local news you read here every day is crafted for you, but right now, we need your help to keep it going. In these uncertain times, your support is even more important. We can't hold those in power accountable and uplift voices from the community without your partnership. Thank you.

Mr. Joe Biden, Vice President of the United States of America and president of my heart, is heading west today to speak at a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee fundraiser and possibly put a damper on your evening commute. Unlike Biden's most recent L.A. sojourn, which involved an appearance at the live Stand Up To Cancer special and primarily downtown-based street closures, today's trip—and the ensuing traffic jam—will be pretty Westside-centric. The fundraiser, which is being held at an undisclosed private residence, will kick off at 7:15 p.m. Biden will be traveling to L.A. from Las Vegas, where he'll be participating in a Hillary Clinton campaign event this afternoon.

Per the LAPD, here's a list of what areas you should avoid tonight and when:

In other campaign news, Hillary Clinton will also be in town tonight for what's being billed as her final L.A. fundraiser before the election (tickers start at $33,400 per person and include an intimate performance by Elton John); Biden is not expected to attend. And, in the interest of giving equal airtime to both candidates, shit-stain-of-a-human Donald Trump will be holding his own rally in Cincinnati tonight.
