Ben Affleck: A Very Considerate Sideswiper
There are celebs (COUGH-Amanda Bynes-COUGH) who get into scrapes behind the wheel and who manage to make an even messier mountain out of a minor molehill. Then there's Mr. Nice Guy Ben Affleck, who sideswiped a car, but left a very thoughtful note for the other driver.
Affleck knocked the mirror off a parked Honda, but totally did the right thing. He got out, and left a note: "Hi, knocked off your mirror. VERY Sorry. Will cover everything. Ben."
Oh, and one other piece of info was on the note, as TMZ notes: Affleck's phone number. What a surprise for the Honda owner who called up the "Ben" who knocked off his mirror!
According to E! Online, the sideswipe-note leaving happened Saturday in Santa Monica. "The 40-year-old thesp was later spotted taking his adorable daughters Violet, 6, and Seraphina, 3, to McDonalds," they add. The day also included an outing to Santa Monica's Barnes & Noble for some shopping.
