Stupid Criminal Of The Week: Bank Robber Arrested Waiting For Bus

A bank robbery suspect's less-then-brilliant getaway plan led to him getting arrested while waiting for the bus.
Around noon, Kyle Alan Veach, 24, handed a note announcing the robbery to a teller at the U.S. Bank branch at 310 Glenneyre St., in Laguna Beach. The suspect did not show a weapon, according to police.
Witnesses gave police a description of the suspect and pointed to where he fled, Laguna Beach police Sgt. Louise Callus told City News Service.
About 1 p.m., an officer saw someone matching the suspect's description waiting at a bus stop at Jasmine Street and North Pacific Coast Highway, Callus said. Veach was taken into custody without incident and the bank loot was recovered.
No word on how much ill-gotten money he enjoyed for that brief hour.
Guess he should have called Ryan Gosling.
