Army Private Captured: Found In Florida For LA Rape
According to the L.A. County sheriff's department, Daniel Brazelton, the army private who escaped from military custody last week in Georgia, was captured at a Daytona Beach, Florida motel on Friday, reports KTLA. Pvt. Brazelton is accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl in Los Angeles County. While being transferred from military to civilian custody on Feb 11, Brazelton escaped and Special Victims Bureau detectives were concerned he might "try to make his way back to his native Palmdale," notes KTLA. Brazelton, who was found unarmed in yesterday's surrender, remains in custody while awaiting extradition back to Los Angeles County.
