Angeles Crest Highway & Connector to Re-Open This Weekend
Last week's rainstorms prompted the closure of various Angeles National Forest arteries, much to the exasperation of many who were locked out during the Station Fire. The good news is that Caltrans plans to re-open SR-2 (Angeles Crest Highway), between La Canada and State Route 39 to through traffic on Sunday, December 20, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. Additionally, the LA County Public Works Department had reopened Angeles Forest Highway, Big Tujunga Canyon Road and Upper Big Tujunga Canyon Road earlier in the week.
