All-Night Pre-BET Awards Party Ends In Fatal Shooting
An all-night pre-BET Awards party in East Hollywood ended in gunfire, with one dead and four injured.
Police came to the Monalizza Restaurant and Banquet Hall at 1161 N Vermont Avenue at 5:17 a.m. and found one person dead at the scene, KNX Radio reported. Four people were taken area hospitals, but their conditions were not released, according to ABC7. No arrests were made, and there's no word yet on the suspect or why the shooting took place, other than that a dispute occurred.
The BET Awards take place at 5 p.m. tonight at the Nokia Theater.
