Last August, Los Angeles businessman Nick Loeb (who happens to be the boyfriend of "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara), sustained a broken leg, a fractured pelvis, and cuts to the chest after he was involved in an accident in which his vehicle went over the side of Beverly Glen Boulveard in Bel Air.Now Loeb is filing a suit against the City of Los Angeles seeking over $50,000 in damages, says RadarOnline. In the suit, Loeb points the finger at the City for failing in its "responsibility to maintain safe roads."

What did Loeb say would have kept him from careening off the side of a windy, hilly road? Signs warning of blind turns, and guardrails, says the suit. Loeb was driving solo when the afternoon accident happened. He is a former Florida politician described as a "trust fund kid."
