Prop 45: Changing the environmental review process
Proposition 45 would limit reviews under the California Environmental Quality Act, in an effort to help developers finish "essential" projects such as housing, schools, roads and bridges more quickly. The proposition would create a 365-day limit review process on such projects and would require courts to rule within 270 days on any lawsuits related to the environmental review law. We talk through the arguments.
Guests:
- John Myers, senior vice president of communications & external affairs for California Chamber of Commerce (CalChamber), which leads the coalition in support of Prop. 45
