405 South Through Sepulveda Pass Will Close Tonight And Sunday Night

Heads up, Westsiders: The 405 Freeway’s southbound lanes at the Sepulveda Pass will close tonight at midnight until 5 a.m. Sunday, then will close again midnight Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.Metro had originally planned to close the southbound lanes at 1 a.m. Sunday morning but bumped it back to midnight, City News Service reports. The closure will take place from Getty Center Drive south to Wilshire Boulevard while Metro repaves the freeway. Northbound lanes will still be open during those time periods.
Additionally, onramps to the southbound 5 in the Sepluveda Pass will begin closing at 7 p.m., according to Metro.
