Here Are the Scheduled Closures for the 405 Freeway This Week

If you plan on driving the 405 freeway between the Valley and Westside in the evenings or early mornings over the next week, take note.Contractors are going to be working on the new Mulholland Drive overpass starting Monday night.

Here's the schedule according to City News Service:
MONDAY NIGHT: At 7 pm, partial lane closures will go into effect in the southbound lanes of the 405 freeway from the 101 to Getty Center Drive. At midnight, that entire section of the southbound 405 will be shut down. It will open up again at 5 am.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Same as Monday!

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Now it's the northbound lanes' turn. The northbound lanes of the 405 from Westwood to the Valley will be be partially closed at 7 pm, and then fully closed between midnight and 5 am.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Same as Wednesday!

Other notes: During this time, Sepulveda Boulevard will remain open next to the freeway during the closures as an alternate route. But be warned that it only has one lane open in each direction.
