13-Year-Old Holding Gun Is Accidentally Shot in the Face
A 13-year-old boy was shot in the face apparently after a gun he was holding went off this morning.
The boy was transported from Pacoima to the hospital, and it's not clear how serious his wound was, according to KTLA.
It's not clear exactly what happened. One man was detained at the scene (which you can see in the screenshot to the right) and two other fled on foot. The gun has not been located. Still, police suspect the shooting is an accident.
"At this point, it appears to be an accidental firearms discharge," LAPD Lt. Andrew Neiman told the Los Angeles Times.
