11-Year-Old Boy Killed in South L.A. Hit and Run
11-year-old Natanael Garcia was walking in a designated crosswalk at 76th and Hoover Street on the afternoon of July 15th when he was struck and killed by a hit and run driver. The LAPD say that the motorist briefly stopped her vehicle but did not exit the car, offer aid, or identify herself as the law dictates. The police are looking for the driver and the vehicle involved. She is described as "a female, Hispanic, with a long pony tail. She was driving a black or dark blue, large sports utility vehicle, with tan trim around the bottom, and stock wheels."
