Bobcat Fire, El Dorado Fire Burn Angeles And San Bernardino National Forests

Two fires are burning in Angeles National Forest and San Bernardino National Forest.
BOBCAT FIRE
A new fire broke out Sunday in the Angeles National Forest, near Cogswell Dam and the West Fork Picnic area.
According to the L.A. County Fire Department, firefighters were sent to what's being called the Bobcat Fire just before 12:30 p.m. It’s now burned at least 500 acres and is expected to spread rapidly and behave erratically.
The fire is visible from the 10 Freeway and from Altadena.

Drivers are being asked to steer clear of Highway 39, so it can be used for emergency vehicles.

EL DORADO FIRE
Burning near the city of Yucaipa, the El Dorado Fire has scorched more than 3,000 acres and is 5% contained.
Evacuations have been ordered north of Yucaipa Blvd. and east of Bryant, north of Carter St. East and west of Bryant, and in the communities of Forest Falls, Forest Home and Oak Glen.
