Arts & Food Events, Day Two

Garden Party & Tour
Join the Windsor Square-Hancock Park Historical Society today from noon to 6pm for the sixth annual Garden Party, featuring the gardens of Getty House, the official residence of the Mayor of Los Angeles. Tour six additional historic private gardens, soak up the how-to’s of organic container gardening and attend a light supper and spectacular silent auction at Getty House, which is rarely open to the public. The proceeds from this year’s event will go toward the continued funding of an extensive greening project at Los Angeles Unified School District’s John Burroughs Middle School, including much-needed improvements along Wilshire Boulevard. Tickets $55.
Full Moon Adventure in the Park
Spend the evening exploring Franklin Canyon after the sun goes down. They tell us: "Spring is awakening nature with new sounds, smells, and sensations. Explore the park by moonlight for this unique after sundown opportunity. All ages welcome." Meet at the Franklin Canyon Ranch at 7 p.m. for this 2-hour event.
