Brewery Art Walk
Today and Sunday enjoy the free Brewery Artwalk's spring event. Stroll around the Brewery and get to know the artists in their studios and lofts. Check out the artwork, chat with the artists, shop, and have a bite to eat. 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Miracle Mile Art Walk & Pop-Up Graffiti Battle
With a special focus on Earth Day, select galleries and venues along Wilshire are participating in the Miracle Mile Art Walk this afternoon. Walk around the area, enjoy free admission to galleries and museums (even LACMA and the Craft & Folk Art Museum), food trucks, and an after party. Plus, the Estria Foundation is hosting a pop-up, mock graffiti battle, a preview of their upcoming July "Battle," which is a nationwide competition that honors and advances street art. Burbank Arts Alive
Today and Sunday, Burbank is hosting a "Celebration of the Arts in all its Forms." Burbank Arts Alive is a weekend of more than 40 performances, concerts, exhibitions, open houses and special appearances throughout the city. The event will showcase the creative spirit by bringing together hundreds of professional and student artists, more than 30 bands and dance groups featuring Burbank youth, a dozen acclaimed street painters, six professional theaters, three art galleries, free tours of city art treasures, lectures, book signings and arts and crafts activities at shops and restaurants all weekend. 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Plus: This weekend is Artisanal LA, today is Record Store Day, and 'Edward Scissorhands 20th Anniversary Tribute' opens tonight at Gallery Nucleus.
