  • Dodgers look for a win to take series advantage
A person walks on the street wrapped in a cape that reads "LA"
Fans walk through the streets of downtown Los Angeles to get to the Dodger victory parade last year. If we're going to get another parade, it will be decided later this week in Toronto.

    Topline:

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays will play Game 5 of the World Series tonight at Dodger Stadium. The game will break the 2-2 series tie ahead of the matchup returning to Toronto for Game 6 (and Game 7, if necessary).

Game 4 recap: The Blue Jays won, 6-2, against the Dodgers last night. Toronto first-baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a two-run homer
off L.A. starting pitcher Shohei Ohtani in the third inning, giving the Blue Jays a lead that they never relinquished.

Where things stand: Tonight is the final World Series game in Los Angeles. The remaining game (or games) will be at Rogers Centre in Toronto, where a champion will claim Major League Baseball's Commissioner’s Trophy.

Watching at Dodger Stadium? If you are one of the lucky fans with tickets tonight, you can catch a free ride on Metro's Dodger Express Bus from Union Station or several locations in the South Bay. The bus runs every 10 minutes, starting two and a half hours before the game. (First pitch is scheduled for just after 5 p.m.)
