    Happy Friday! You made it through another work week, now enjoy the slightly cooler weather this weekend.

    Temperatures are continuing to trend away from 100 degrees. Highs for the Inland Empire will top out at 97 degrees, and at 96 degrees for L.A. County valleys. Coachella Valley is finally out of triple digits with daytime highs from 94 to 99 degrees.

    The coastal areas are also seeing cooler temperatures, with highs at L.A. County beaches maxing out at 78 degrees, and now down to 87 degrees for areas around downtown L.A. Those areas will also see patchy fog in the morning followed by afternoon sunshine.

    The Orange County coast will see highs from 74 to 84 degrees and up to 89 degrees more inland.
