Today will be at most two degrees warmer than yesterday but stay relatively fresh. L.A. and Orange County beaches will continue to see high temperatures in the 70s, topping out at 78 degrees.
L.A. County valleys and the Inland Empire will stay in the mid 70s and top out around 85 degrees for the warmest areas.
And in Coachella Valley, daytime highs will stay in the mid 90s.
Looking ahead, temperatures will rise between two and five degrees across the region, with warmer temperatures for the inland areas. The National Weather Service says there's a chance there could be a heatwave next week.
