Photos: SoCal Is On Fire Today. This Is What It Looks Like
Several fires broke out across Southern California Thursday and continue to burn on Friday. People have died, homes have been destroyed, and tens of thousands have been evacuated or displaced. Here are the photos, videos and imagery that show what it's like out there:
SADDLERIDGE FIRE (LOS ANGELES COUNTY)
The Saddleridge Fire began Thursday night near Sylmar and grew by thousands of acres overnight.
The #SaddleridgeFire which started in Sylmar has now jumped the 5 freeway per @LAFD. Additional mandatory evacuation orders for the area of Balboa to Tampa north of Sesnon. EL SERENO FIRE (LOS ANGELES COUNTY)
Another brush fire broke out Friday in El Sereno. A plume of visible smoke could be seen across a wide area.
SANDALWOOD FIRE (RIVERSIDE COUNTY)
The Sandalwood Fire in Calimesa spread to more than 800 acres by Friday morning and prompted mandatory evacuations.
RECHE FIRE (RIVERSIDE COUNTY)
The Reche Fire started near the 9000 block of Reche Canyon Road in Moreno Valley. All evacuation orders were lifted by 9 p.m. Thursday.

WENDY FIRE (VENTURA COUNTY)
The Wendy Fire broke out Thursday in Newbury Park, according to Cal Fire officials. By Friday morning, it had reached nearly 100 acres and was 50% contained.
#Wendyfire is still burning to the south away from Newbury Park. FF's have successfully backfired to roads and trails. There are no reported injuries and approximately 91 acres. WOLF FIRE (RIVERSIDE COUNTY)
About 4 miles south of Banning, flames spread to about 75 acres by Friday morning.
