Get Your Drink On At This New Brewery In The Valley

Now you can drink craft beers at a spacious new brewery that just opened in the San Fernando Valley.
The San Fernando Brewing Company just recently opened the doors to their tap room, where you can sample their current offering of four house beers. The brewery quietly began serving a pale ale, red ale, and a stout over the past couple weeks, according to Food GPS. And they just added an IPA to the lineup today, and have a wheat beer in the works.
The tap room—while not huge—offers a a high-ceilinged, industrial space with plenty of good-sized tables, a couple couches and stools at the dark-wood-paneled bar. You can order pints at the tap room or purchase a growler to take the beer home. There's also one of those sweet shuffleboard tables to keep you entertained. And while food-wise, there's only a popcorn machine—which is still great—you can bring your own eats or have food delivered from nearby.

The team behind San Fernando Brewing Company consists of Ryan Rogers, Vic Chouchanian and his brother Joe. The trio started as home brewers and plan to expand their offerings in the coming months as they get the hang of their new 15-barrel system.
While there's been plenty of buzz in recent years around breweries popping up in other parts of town, including the South Bay and The Arts District, and elsewhere, the beer scene in the Valley is gaining momentum. San Fernando Brewing Co. joins the ranks of nearby Pac City Brewery and MacLoud Ale Brewing Co down in Van Nuys.
San Fernando Brewing Company is located at 425 Park Ave., San Fernando. The tap room is open Thursday through Saturday, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays, 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
