L.A. To Light Bat-Signal On Thursday Night In Honor Of Adam West
On Thursday night, Los Angeles will honor the late actor Adam West with one last Bat-Signal—but instead of lighting Gotham, it will be projected against our very own City Hall. West, who brought Batman to international fame in his 1960s role as the title character, died on Friday at age 88 in Los Angeles.

Mayor Eric Garcetti and LAPD Chief Charlie Beck will light the Bat-Signal during a tribute to the actor at 9 p.m. tomorrow. The ceremony will take place on the steps of City Hall. The projected Bat-Signal will be about 70 feet high and 40 feet wide, according to a spokesperson from the Mayor's Office. Fans are being encouraged to attend in their best Batman outfits, per Entertainment Weekly. Surprise "Bat-guests" will also be on hand, according to Screenrant.
Los Angeles City Hall is located at 200 N Spring Street in downtown Los Angeles.
