Maria Bamford has worked the comedy circuit for a long while, so it's nice to see that she's finally getting her due. Her Netflix-produced series, Lady Dynamite, has been getting stellar reviews from all corners of the universe. Slate said that the show "feels like nothing else on TV" and The New York Times hailed it as a "layered, surreal sitcom."

Did we mention that the show focuses on mental illness? Well, it does, and somehow Bamford has managed to write a hilarious (and honest) series on the topic.

While Bamford is killing it IRL, her Lady Dynamite character (based on herself) is still wading through the murky waters of B-lister status. For instance, her agent coaxes her into filming a commercial for an instant ramen called "Pussy Noodle." The video has garnered over 3 million views on Bamford's Facebook page. While most viewers are in-the-know with the fake commercial, it seems like some individuals are unable to wrap their minds around it:

What's adding to the confusion is that, apparently, Pussy Noodle is now an actual thing. As some people have documented on Instagram today, a Pussy Noodle truck has been driving around L.A. and handing out cups of the Bamford-sponsored ramen:

Obviously, it's a PR gag from the good folks at Netflix. Still, if the Pussy Noodle truck were to roll up to our office right at this moment, we wouldn't be opposed to having a late lunch/early dinner of instant ramen. We're all on board if it helps Bamford get more commercial work.
