Danny Trejo's Taco Shop Expected To Expand To Silver Lake And Hollywood

Less than two months after opening up a taco shop on La Brea, Danny Trejo is already plotting to open up two more locations and all we can say is bring it on. Word on the street is that the Trejo's Tacos team is looking to open a second location in Hollywood sometime in the very near future with a third one planned for Silver Lake, according to Eater LA. So, if you haven't yet had a chance to catch our favorite machete-wielding actor's beef brisket tacos or deliciously-addictive street corn, you'll soon have plenty more opportunities.
The Hollywood location is set to take over the space that once housed gastropub District 13 at the corner of Cahuenga Blvd. and Selma Ave. According to Eater, the spot is already hiring and should have a beer and wine license when it opens, so you can enjoy a cold brew with your tacos in addition to the horchata and frescas available at the first location.
Trejo's Silver Lake spot is expected to take over the recently closed Romero's Chicken N Donuts on Virgil Ave. just down the street from Sqirl. But there still doesn't seem to be an official word on that location yet, so, we'll just have to wait and see.
