First Shake Shack In L.A. Set To Open March 15 In WeHo
LAist's in-depth Shake Shack coverage began just under a year ago when it was announced that the New York-based fast food joint would be opening in West Hollywood sometime in 2016. Now it appears that the wait is finally over; though the real wait in what are sure to be massive lines has yet to begin. It is quite the existential dilemma.Eater reports Shake Shack's WeHo location, at the corner of Santa Monica and Knoll, one block west of La Cienega, will be opening March 15. Honestly Shake Shack...March 15? That's pretty risky. Haven't you heard of the Ides of March?
Should you choose to forsake the soothsayer's warning, Shake Shack will be debuting a special new burger unique to California called the "Roadside Double": a double cheeseburger with Swiss cheese, Dijon mustard and onions that have been simmered in bacon and beer.
The WeHo location is the first to open in Los Angeles. We're also set to get Shake Shacks downtown and in Glendale later this year.
