Police are investigating the discovery of the bodies of two women in Montecito Heights.
Just before 2:30 p.m., Wednesday afternoon, someone reported the bodies, which were in the southern edge of Ernest E. Debs Regional Park, near Mercury Avenue and Boundary Street. According to KTLA, the bodies were clothed and about 20 feet apart in the brush, just off a hiking trail.
The bodies have yet to be identified, though The Eastsider reports that they were two Latinas, between the ages of 18 and 25.
