Thus concludes our month-long anguish ever since David Lynch and Showtime had a falling out over a contract dispute. Looks like that video plea by the cast worked.

Update [6:00]: Variety says that Lynch will be directing the entire series, which is going to be longer than the originally announced nine hours. Reportedly, Lynch initially dropped out when production costs went overbudget and Showtime asked him and collaborator Mark Frost to "trim their profits."
