Gov. Brown Flies Coach on Southwest Flight to BUR
Though he's headed to Los Angeles to be a speaker tonight at a $500-a-plate dinner at L.A. Live, Governor Jerry Brown got from Sacramento to Burbank the quick and dirty--and budget-friendly--way: He flew coach on Southwest. SFGate rode along with Brown, who reportedly turned down the $16 upgrade to "business select" and took the trek with "no press aides, no entourage, no security," and even without his wife.
