LAst Night's Action: Lakers Win Easy Over Wiz
LA Lakers defeat Washington Wizards 103-89. This wasn’t pretty especially with Wizards no. 1 pick John Wall sitting out with knee tendinitis. In his absence Gilbert Arenas picked up the slack with a whole whopping 11 points.
Meanwhile the Lakers got their big back, Andrew Bynum with seven points and four rebounds off the bench in 17 minutes. Kobe Bryant led the way with 24 points with Lamar Odom getting a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
After all the close uninspired games the Lakers have played recently they finally had a laugher. And there was some laughter in the third quarter after Al Thornton fouled Kobe behind the arc. Kobe proceeded to miss all three free throws, something that had never happened.
