Taiwanese News Animation Re-Creates San Gabriel Mayor's Dumpling-Throwing Purse-Grabbing Meltdown
Much like in the high-profile cases of the ex-Mrs. Tiger Woods versus the golfer's SUV and Jay Leno versus Conan O'Brien, a CGI rendering of the events that allegedly transpired last week that resulted in the arrest of now-former San Gabriel Mayor Albert Huang is helping people all over the world visualize the bizarre confrontation.
Taiwan's NextMedia published the video on their site (translated), and details the spat between the 35-year-old Taiwanese-born Huang and his unidentified 33-year-old female friend, including the dumpling-flinging and the purse grabbing, and shows the Huang's friend clinging to his SUV as he drives away from the strip mall and into San Gabriel traffic.
Also included on this video is an amusing soundbite delivered in English in a KTLA interview by a San Gabriel resident, who says of Huang: "I don't want to say anything bad about him, but, uh, you know, he wasn't that good of a neighbor...he was a jerk." Huang maintains the squabble was just "a misunderstanding" between friends.
