Actor Peter Graves Dead at 83
Peter Graves, perhaps best remembered for his parts in the television series Mission: Impossible and the movie Airplane! as well as his role as host and narrator of A&E's popular series Biography, has died, according to LA Now. He was 83. The actor was found dead today at his Pacific Palisades home, and appears to have died of natural causes. Born in Minneapolis, Graves worked in radio after studying drama at the University of Minnesota and came to Hollywood in the early 1950s. The younger brother of actor James Arness, Graves had been married to his wife Joan since 1950; they have three daughters and six grandchildren.
