MTV Judge Melvin Shane Sparks Arrested on Suspicion of Various Sexual Crimes with Minors
Dance teacher, TV judge and choreographer Melvin Shane Sparks was arrested this morning at his North Hollywood home as part of an ongoing child molestation investigation in which he is suspected of engaging in a handful of sexual acts with minors. Specifically, files were charged alleging lewd conduct with a child under 14, two counts of sexual intercourse with a minor and two counts of oral copulation with a minor.
Sparks is a teacher at the Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood and is known for his time as a judge on the MTV show “America’s Best Dance Crew’ and as a choreographer on the television show “So You Think You Can Dance.”
