Yes, we spotted this lion this morning. | Photo by Christine N. Ziemba
Early this morning as we were driving out of an Albertsons/Starbucks parking lot in Valencia, we spotted an animal pacing in a trailer in front of us. At first, we thought it was a horse or a pig. But noooo. Even before the coffee kicked in, we spotted the king of the jungle checking us out. So we snapped this photo. Even with all the wackiness that we've seen on LA's roads, this is the first time we've seen a lion.
What weird things have you spotted on our roads?

no doubt he ordered a grrrr...ande!
I love this - the lion looks so blase!
LOL @ grrr...ande
Kinda has that 'puppy' look...
waiting for his daddy to come back from the store.
Speaking of puppies, I had my two dogs in my car this morning, hoping that they wouldn't see the lion and start barking at it! I mean, I didn't want to test how the cage was with one pissed off lion.
It was probably headed To Shambala which is a non-profit Big Cat sanctuary in Acton. It's a great place to tour if you are free on one of their public tour days.
I've seen a tranny hooker arguing with a midget on Santa Monica Blvd. It was quite the scene.
80s billboard queen Angelyne at the Pavilions on Melrose/Vine, STILL in her pink Corvette.
