My favorite Phish song was from my first and only Phish show, Back on the Train from Hampton VA March 7, 2009. It is my favorite because I had waited soooo long to see the band and was so excited. Also, it was so symbolic of Phish being back on the jam train...woo hoo!!!!

I love "Pebbles and Marbles." I first heard it live at IT when I was trudging through the mud looking for my brother who was candy flipping. Plus, Phish rocks it out on Round Room. And "Time Turns Elastic" is one of my favorite new Phish tunes from Joy. It reminds me a lot of The Grateful Dead's "Terrapin Station." The song's progressive and dark in some moments and sounds Bowie-esque, and it all leads up to the JOYful classic Phish finale when Trey sings, "And as the carousel circles unceasingly..." and everything's right with the world:) PHiSH, pHish, PHISh, pHIsh, phish, PHISH!

Reba, each time I hear it takes me back to the first time I heard the Lawn Boy tape when my brother brought it back from high school in 2002. The complex squirrel chase into the blissfully simple two chord buidling jam has simply never gotten old even as I have.
