Model Bettie Page Hospitalized After Heart Attack

Bettie Page suffers Heart Attack in Los Angeles

The girl not from next door, Bettie Page, has been hospitalized in Los Angeles after suffering a heart attack on Tuesday. The 85-year-old former model remains "critically ill," her agent says. She is reportedly in a coma.

Albeit years after her new life in Christianity, Page helped rock the 60s into a sexual revolution with her classic pin-up bikini and lingerie photos. Before that in 1955, she became Playboy's second ever Playmate, following Marilyn Monroe. Her more scandalous photos were censored after Congressional Committee hearings.

I had no clue she was still alive :/

Exactly what i said when I saw the headline on yahoo... "Bettie Page is alive??"

As a kid, I thought BP was the goddess of forbidden pleasure. She was so much ahead of her time. Her style of fashion is timeless and very much alive as seen by those bold, beautiful women who call themselves, "Suicide Girls". She will be greatly missed. Goodbye Ms. Page

It should be pointed out that Gretchen Mol is the actress pictured above.

GET BETTER, BETTIE!

Why in the hell would you not use a real picture of her? She's so god damn gorgeous...

wow I thought she lived in Florida?

Wow she was gorgeous! That was back in the days when women didn't have to look like they hadn't eaten more than a soda cracker for over a month!

MMMmmm curves!

Holding good thoughts for our dear Bettie..

There are plenty of sites listed for dear Bettie. This is likely the best. As you look through the gallery pictures you'll notice she's curvy and plump. Believe it or not she was considered 'athletic.'

Grrr. http://www.bettiepage.com. Look for gallery.
