YouTube Graffiti Tagger Could Get 20 Years

Graffiti tagger bucket on youtube gets arrestedCyrus Yazdani, 24, who is known on the streets as Buket, was arrested after videos of him allegedly tagging around Los Angeles were posted on YouTube. Los Angeles County Sheriff's had been looking for him for awhile and finally caught up with the by-day Las Vegas convention planner/by-night alleged prolific street tagger with a criminal record (see videos here of him on a freeway bridge and tagging a bus in downtown during the middle of a busy day).

Today he was charged with 32 counts of felony vandalism and is being held on $100,000 bail (prosecutors want that nudged up to $234,000). If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison.

He wont get 20 years. I hope he does get some jail time and restitution.

how dumb. what a stupid ass justice system. arrest people that deserve it, try that maybe?

Hey field--where do you live? I'd love to come vandalize your property since it's really no big deal, right? Dumbass.

a better punishment would have him clean up at least 32 grafitti infested spots. yeah? kind of like a dante's inferno...

Any dumbass who post himself doing illegal shit on youtube deserves it. But with the way LA jail systems work, he'll probably be out in a year or two.

20 years? That's retarded; give him a shit load of community service, a fine, and public apologies.

I don't know what's more offensive; potenial 20 year sentence for a non-violent crime or how ugly and mundane his tag is...
