LA's Pop Culture in 3 Blocks

eboy does Los Angeles
See the larger version | Via eBoy's website

Along with their art opening last week in London featuring the new "LA" work, pixel art group eBoy released the artwork as a poster in a series of many including Tokyo and New York City.

The piece pictures Los Angeles' pop culture in a micro-condensed two to three block area. No Waldo spottings, but there's plenty of fun to spot inch by inch including a SWAT shoot out, lots of paparazzi and a Segway cruising the gridlocked freeway.

You can purchase it via their website.

I like the overturned car on fire with roiters around it in the bottom right corner the best

No movie studios? No radio stations? No Scientology? No Big Hair rockers? No taco trucks?

This is not my L.A.

i prefer the FooBar. I might have missed it, but in the midst of a facebook and del.icio.us shoutout, I'm pretty sure they forgot to add Twitter.

zombies ftw

I think its a pretty awesome pic. I made it into my desktop background. of course now trying to find my icons is like trying to find where's Waldo...

It certainly nailed our fascination with the media! I love it.

So good. But no Amoeba?

...did anyone else notice the dude with the viking hat and roller skates by the naked penthouse party? he's so venice.
oh, and the hollywood and highland elephant is a nice touch.
