TV Junkie: Thursday

Victoria's SecretAs you can see below it's slim pickins tonight. Last Friday the Wall Street Journal ran an article about all the smoke that the networks are blowing with their overuse of the word "new" as it applies to their programming. ABC's "all new (but partial) season of Lost" and the "all new funny" Carpoolers, which would be a welcome change for that sub par offering. I guess we're supposed to be excited about this and the fact that Victoria's Secret will be running it's first Super Bowl ad since 1999, mark your calendars.

[Per last night's Conan, is it just me, or do Pink and Eddie Izzard look like they're related?]

8:00pm Ugly Betty ABC - New episode! Betty's perfume has some unexpected effects

9:00pm American Chopper TLC - Season Premiere.

9:15pm Notorious TCM - (1946) Alfred Hitchcock's classic spy vs. spy thriller starring Cary Grant, Claude Rains, and the incomparable Ingrid Bergman. TV Junkie Pick O' The Night.

11:30pm The Late Show With David Letterman CBS - Sylvestuh Stallone, the Teutul family, the Mars Volta perform

7:30 - LA Lakers v. Phoenix Suns....

Thanks grendel20, I used to cover all the televised LA sporting events but that was getting out of hand during season overlap. LAist does do sports-specific coverage but I hear what you're saying and when truly desperate I'll cast around for sports on TV.
