Morrissey Shows Canceled for Today and Thursday

Bigmouth couldn't sell out 10 nights? There's no official word if Moz had ticket selling issues or if he's exhausted or has anxiety, or if he just wanted to road trip to Zona to check out the Cubs vs the D-Backs.

There was a line of people all day long waiting to get into the
paladium , I just saw them exchanging tickets. And noticed the
security hanging these signs up.

LAist staffer Bobby Solomon, deeply disturbed by the cancellation, was pissed by the typesetting of the notices. "AND they wrote those signs in Comic Sans, those assholes," Solomon said.

Update: Bad Pipes To Blame
Promoters of the show, Live Nation, explain the cancellations thusly:

Due to a ruptured water pipe resulting in a safety issue, the Morrissey shows originally scheduled for October 2 and October 4 at the Hollywood Palladium have been cancelled.

Tickets for the cancelled shows will be honored at the door at either the October 8 or October 9 performances. If unable to attend October 8 or October 9, refunds available at point of purchase.

The Palladium apologizes to Morrissey and his fans for the inconvenience in disrupting these historical performances and will be ready for the remaining shows beginning this Friday, October the 5th.

Are we the only ones who thinks a steamy, stanky, misty evening with Moz in a drippy wet room was sorta the point in the first place?
