Wanna Kick It with the New Joss Stone?
Joss Stone, the 19-year-old British soul singer, who's probably best remembered for singing barefoot with Melissa Etheridge at the Grammys in 2005, has a new album due out in March. But LA fans have the opportunity to see her test drive her new material on Monday (1/29) in West LA at 7 p.m., courtesy of Yahoo! Music and Virgin Records.
The first 200 fans to e-mail: Invites@YahooLiveSets.com will get in the doors (with a friend) for this exclusive taping. So Joss-heads, e-mail your name, your location and tell them how much you love Joss. (You need to be 16 and need a guardian to attend if you're under 18.) They'll contact you with all the details if you are chosen.
What LAist wants to know, however, is if Joss has really turned in her hippie-skirt wearing, Patchouli-inspired look for more vintage Avril Lavigne-ish attire (above).
